Winter Update

I hope that everything is going as well for you, as it is for our lodge. If you are not aware, our lodge earned the Quality Lodge Award for 2008. This is a very honorable achievement that we have been striving for the last few years. I would like to thank all of you for your help in this accomplishment.

Just recently in January, we had another very successful Winter Weekend. We had a very good turn out with a lot of fellowship. Along with the Winter Weekend, we had our annual banquet. Once again there was a very good turn out with over 111 people. There was great food accompanied with great conversation. Mr. Brian Nastase, our new scout executive, was our guest speaker and made a great presentation. Congratulations to Sam Hadden and Steve Tack for receiving the Lodge's Founder's Award. Just a couple things to look forward to...

• NOAC is this year. It is at Indiana University, July 31st-August 6th. I want to see you all there.
• Also coming up is Section Conclave at North woods Scout Reservation, April 24-26th. I want to see a good representation from our lodge. We also need ideas for spirit at conclave, so if you have any, please let me know.
• And we can't forget Spring Fellowship at Camp Rotary May 15-17th.

Don't forget to pay your 2009 Dues!!!

I hope that the Unit Elections and Camp Promotions are going smoothly. Make sure that all units get contacted.
